COUNSELLING
You don’t need to battle on your own
Sometimes the road seems long and difficult and you just don’t know where to start. It may seem impossible even to know where you are heading let alone set goals.
What do counselling sessions feel like?
We will work together to resolve the things you want to talk about. It is an opportunity for you to explore personal and relational issues in a safe place, where you can speak in confidence, knowing your thoughts will not be shared with others. Solutions will not be offered but I will aim to help you to deal with your challenges. This may mean thinking about past experiences to help make sense of current feelings, experiences and relationships. However, you direct the agenda of our sessions.
Confidentiality
To ensure open exploration of your concerns, our discussions are confidential, in accordance with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Code of Ethics) (www.bacp.co.uk). I am a registered member of the BACP and bound by their Code of Ethics.
